River’s Bend Sportsplex, Pool & Fitness Center

One of the biggest selling points in River’s Bend is that the recreation campus belongs to the homeowners. Every homeowner in River’s Bend, Vista Pointe and The Fairways at River’s Bend automatically receives Sportsplex membership — there is no separate club to join.

Fitness center

  • Open daily to members by access card, 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
  • Cardio and weight equipment plus a schedule of group fitness classes, which are included with membership at no extra charge
  • Class registration is handled through SuperSaas — see the Sportsplex SuperSaas schedule
  • The indoor gym is open to family members 15 and older; children 12 to 15 must be accompanied by an adult
  • Each household receives one key fob, with the option to purchase a second (maximum of two per household)

Outdoor pools

The pool complex sits at the Sportsplex and typically runs from Memorial Day weekend through mid-August, open daily 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. with lifeguards on duty.

  • Main pool: six lanes, 25 yards, 3 to 5 feet deep
  • Separate shallow pool for children under 8, with a mushroom fountain
  • Both pools are heated
  • Grills are available at the adjacent pavilion, which members can reserve
